Are your products originals or reproductions
All items we sell here are originals. I do not sell reproduction items. Many of these lights will have the original wiring. It is often best to rewire these products using up to date materials before use.

Where do these items come from?
The majority of the items listed here were rescued from the wrecking ball. They are from businesses that have been long gone, abandoned buildings, and even closed army bases on the verge of being razed.

Why buy vintage?
Vintage products give your home or business a certain look. Nothing can recreate the patina on an items as well as time can. These old items were made in the USA and built to last, and have many more years of life left in them. Todays products are cheap, disposable items, probably made in China, that don't last, and often are dangerous to use.

How much will it cost to ship?
That depends on you. How fast do you want it?, and where do you live? I don't mark up shipping costs. I only pass along what the shipper has charged me, never more. I generally like to ship UPS. The prices quoted on this site are only what I estimate that UPS ground will charge me. If you can wait an extra day or so, I can get more exact shipping fees. Some locations have limited shipping availability. If you live in Alaska, they only offer UPS 2 day. And it's not cheap! I shipped a small box to Alaska in January 2012 UPS-2 and they charged me over $25.00

What kind of discounts can I receive?
If you buy more than one item, the discount can be substantial. Sometimes up to 50% off the additional item. Larger orders can get even greater discounts. If you really like an item, but feel you can't quite afford it, let me know. I can probably work out a deal for you to get the product you want for much less. I am not a business, just someone who goes around collecting things. I don't have overhead. The items I sell are all stuck up in my attic.

Why are vintage lights so expensive?
Actually they are quite cheap, at least through me. Do a google search for vintage lighting, and you will be shocked at what some of the "major" sellers are charging for their lights. Mine are usually 1/2 of what they are charging. If you see someone selling the same product as mine cheaper, let me know. I might be able to get you a better deal.

How long will it take to process my order?
I am not in a store. I check my emails every day. When I do get notice of a sale, I do my best to get the product out the door in a couple of days. I generally have to find the correct size box, pack it, etc. Not the most efficient way to do business, I know.
